Built in 1927, the Winter Gardens Pavilion is an impressive landmark on the Weston-super-Mare seafront, sure to leave a lasting impression with its unique sunken ballroom and neo-Georgian details.

The venue features several versatile rooms, ranging from smaller meeting rooms that can seat a handful of delegates to the historic ballroom that can accommodate nearly 1000 guests.

The Winter Gardens Pavilion has a license to perform both weddings and civil ceremonies, and is fully licensed to serve alcohol.

All of function rooms feature the latest conference technology, and the building has full WiFi coverage.

Catering is available, with a variety of packages available which range from tea and coffee to full banquet-style dining. Menus can be created that are bespoke to your event.

Conferences, ceremonies and events benefit from our dedicated events team, which has many years of experience running a variety of events.

The Pavilion is well connected across the South West, with excellent transport links to Bristol. Its on a bus route and around fifteen minutes’ walk from the train station. The Winter Gardens is also next to the town’s main multi-storey car park.

The Winter Gardens’ ballroom is one of the most spectacular event spaces in the UK.

Its elegant sunken dancefloor is sure to leave a lasting impression on your guests, and help you create a memorable event. The ballroom features a state-of-the-art colour changing lighting system, which enables you to dress the room with any colour or variety of colours with a user-friendly touchscreen device. This opens up a range of possibilities for weddings, ceremonies and events, and means that you can create an atmosphere without hiring in an external system.

The venue is also perfectly suited to conferences, and a bespoke audio and presentation system has been installed to enable conferences to run with ease. The ballroom features a large removable stage with a variety of size and height options, as well as a high-tech LED video wall, which will really give your conference the ‘wow’ factor!

For banquets, the ballroom is served by the professional kitchen attached to our main restaurant, Lasseter’s. Our head chef will work with you to create the ideal menu for your event, and we are able to cater for a variety of dietary or food preparation requirements.

Audio in the ballroom is provided by a bespoke line-array NEXO sound system, and work has been carried out to improve the venue’s acoustics – bringing them up to a modern standard.

The ballroom audio, lighting and visuals can be controlled by a user-friendly touchscreen device, however full audio visual support from the building’s technicians is available for a fee.

On top of the venue’s main ballroom, the Winter Gardens Pavilion features a suite of adaptable function rooms which are ideal for meetings and conferences, as well as smaller ceremonies.

Several of our larger upstairs rooms offer stunning views across Weston-super-Mare’s bay, which makes them perfect for meetings where you want to impress your guests. These rooms can seat up to 60 people.

These rooms are modern and fresh, while incorporating elements of the building’s unique character.

If you require food for your event, the Winter Gardens offers a range of catering packages that range from simple tea and coffee right up to lunch and evening meal. If you require a bespoke menu, our head chef can work with you to address your requirements.
